Hi, I’m Max 👋, founder and community manager of The Balance Base.

At 17, I left high school to backpack the world, spending 8 years as a scuba instructor, software engineer, and digital nomad. After living in countless hostels and coliving spaces, I saw the need for a space that truly balances work and play.

Now back in New Zealand, I’m building that community at The Balance Base. When I’m not working, I’m snowboarding, freediving, or exploring on my motorbike.
